International Festival of Theatre – end of September – beginning of October
Tbilisi international festival of theatre is arguably the biggest cultural event happening this autumn in Georgia. Apart from Georgia, the festival has now become of the major performing art events in Caucasia and other Black Sea countries. The aim of the festival is not only to contribute to Georgian’s position on the global cultural map but also to uncover a world which enhances the imagination and emotions for its participants and the audience.

Tbilisi Photo Festival – Sep 12 – 21
Tbilisi Photo Festival will take place between the 13th and 20th of September 2019 in Tbilisi, Georgia. The festival was held for the first time back in 2010 and has gained more popularity in the last few years as a major annual cultural event. The event aims to attract photographers, curators, photo editors from various regions – Asia, Iran, Turkey, Europe, Russia and the Arab world and to showcase emerging local talents.
In addition, for the first time in 2019, the festival is also launching a series of Masterclasses which will be led by internationally known photographers, praised not only for their work but also for their skills to communicate their ways of seeing.

Georgian International Festival of Arts – Oct 19 – Nov 16
The GIFT/ Georgian International Festival of Arts in Tbilisi first took place in 1997.
