Peggy Gou is a Berlin-based Korean artist with exceptional DJ skills.
Peggy Gou is one of the world’s most accomplished electronic music artists of the last few years, and in April she will be embarking on an Australian tour.
She was originally scheduled to come down under around 18 months ago, but had to postpone due to the global pandemic and the Australian lockdown.
Fans of Peggy Gou now only have to wait a few more weeks before they can hit the dance floor to catch her in the flesh, and hear her disco-tinged style of house and techno rich with analogue sounds.
Her distinctive sound and engaging DJ style make her a popular headline performer, and based in Berlin she isn’t someone who Australians always get a chance to see live. This will no doubt get people travelling across the country to see her perform at one of the four gigs she is playing on this tour.
First in her schedule is Canberra on March 31st, then she has two shows in Sydney on April 1st and 2nd. The tour is finished off with her playing as part of the Piknic Electronik line-up in Melbourne on April 3rd.
There is a mixture of other artists playing at the various shows including the likes of Andy Garvey, LUEN and Dena Amy.
