L-Vis 1990 Returns as Dance System Alias With New Wuh Oh Remix

Night Slugs co-founder and L-Vis 1990 revived his Dance System alias last year with his EP, Wind Em Up, and today he makes a return to the moniker with a funky dub remix of the eccentric artist Wuh Oh’s latest single, “Softstyle”

Mixing in his signature blend of high energy techno, house and garage, he brings new dancefloor energy to the track. He instinctively reworked the tune introducing switch ups and contrasting sections over a driving baseline, sure to induce whiplash when played on the huge sound system that it deserves. Dance System has been at the forefront of dance music for over a decade, spearheading his label Night Slugs and releasing his own originals with collectives like Clone, Monkeytown Records, and Eat’s Everything’s Edible imprint.

Wuh Oh has gained recognition for his hyper-energetic live sets, where he can be seen performing in flamboyant custom-made outfits and leading the way in self-styled interpretive dance. Drawing on inspiration from the likes of The Chemical Brothers, BJORK, Kanye West and Daft Punk, Wuh Oh injects his unconventional musical elements into trippy DIY visuals. His latest track “Softstyle” comes off the back of recent singles “Zita”, “How Do You Do It”, and “Pretty Boy”, which have all garnered widespread praise by electronic tastemakers like Hudson Mohawke, Ryan Hemsworth, Pete Tong and Annie Mac to name a few.
