The 63rd annual Grammy Awards was this weekend in Los Angeles.
Hosted by Trevor Noah, there was no audience due to the COVID-19 pandemic, but it was televised, and had live performances from Taylor Swift, Dua Lipa, Bad Bunny and Megan Thee Stallion.
There was still a socially distanced red-carpet event, as although there was no audience, the stars nominated for awards were permitted to attend.
Record of The Year is “Everything I Wanted” by Billie Eilish, Song of The Year is “I Can’t Breathe” by Dernst Emile II, H.E.R. & Tiara Thomas, and Album Of The Year is “Folklore” by Taylor Swift.
The Best Dance Recording was awarded to Kaytranada Featuring Kali Uchis for the track “10%”, which is a down tempo cut that blends soulful vocals and hip hop influence with a house groove.
Best Dance/Electronica album was “Bubba” by Kaytranada, and it’s a jazz inspired hip hop album with a chilled vibe, and this also features the dub version of the aforementioned track 10%.
