DJs playing at this weekend’s various events include Margaret Dygas, Francesco Del Garda, Alexia Glensy and Enzo Siragusa.
S*A*S*H is one of Australia’s most respected and longstanding electronic music event organisers and this weekend they are celebrating 13 years of parties with an epic tour across the country.
Their parties are known for blending serious music with a light-hearted vibe that encourages things like fancy dress and general merriment.
Not only have they brought international headliners to Australian soil, but they have also help cultivate home-grown talent, and this weekend they are throwing parties in Sydney, Melbourne and Perth.
The fun starts in Melbourne on Friday the 7th of April when they will be hosting a party at ATET that along with local support, features headline sets from Margaret Dygas and Alexia Glensy.
Then on Saturday the 8th of April they are hosting a party at The Court Hotel in Perth featuring international headliner Enzo Siragusa.
Finally, on Sunday the 9th of April they are finishing off the weekend in the promoter’s hometown of Sydney where they are taking over The Greenwood Hotel with headline sets from Margaret Dygas, Francesco Del Garda, Alexia Glensy and Enzo Siragusa.
Patrons are encouraged to attend in their finest fancy dress and come prepared for a day fun and silliness with a backing track provided by some of the world’s finest DJ talent.
Margaret Dygas has a sound born in New York, ripened in London and refined in Berlin. She plays deep and dub influenced deep tech with immersive atmosphere and infectious grooves perfect for the firing up the dance floor. She is also known for her EP’s and full-length albums on Contexterrior, PowerShovelAudio, Perlon and Non Standard Productions.
Francesco Del Garda is a veteran Italian DJ with years of experience and a reputation for always delivering the goods. His eclectic sets and seamless mixing incorporate smooth grooves from house, electro, garage, techno and minimal. He is known for playing tracks both old and new, including many unknown gems that have yet to be unleashed upon the dance floor.
Alexia Glensy is a Brazilian artist currently based in Berlin and she is hotly tipped as a future star who has been making waves ever since she burst onto the scene in 2018. She is known for a style that blends deep and avant-garde techno with electro and broken beats.
Enzo Siragusa is a UK artist known for his internationally respected radio show on Rinse FM, plus releases on labels such as Fuse London. His stripped back and funk-fuelled style of chic house music takes him all over the world and there is much excitement for him being in Australia.
