Ministry of Sound is touring Australia with a series of warehouse vibe parties that pay homage to the ‘90s and ‘00s club scenes. The tour includes Australian shows in Sydney, Melbourne, Perth, Brisbane, Gold Coast, Adelaide, and Auckland between August 4th and August 13th.
The tour is split into two, which each pay homage to a different era of dance music. Session One focuses on music and artists from the ‘90s and Session Two focuses on the ‘00s. If there are two dates in your local area, then make sure you get the ticket for the Session you want, as each date seems to focus on a different era rather than there being two different rooms on the same night.
Session One invites international headliners including “The indomitable house music queen, Barbara Tucker (USA), joins forces with Detroit Techno pioneers Inner City (USA), the esteemed English DJ/Producer Tall Paul (UK), and Phil Hartnoll, one half of the iconic UK acid-house-meets-trance duo Orbital. Together, they bring their unrivalled ‘90s expertise to Session One.”
Session Two features performances from international icons such as “the masked electro-punk trailblazers and American EDM pioneers, The Bloody Beetroots (IT), take center stage, accompanied by the beloved Kitsuné electronica darlings, Digitalism (GER), and the legendary breakbeat masters FreQ Nasty (NZ/UK), Stanton Warriors (UK), and Skool of Thought (UK).”
Each of the sessions will also feature local Australian artists who at the time of the session’s setting, were instrumental within each city’s local club scene such as Ministry of Sound, Goodwill, John Course, Groove Terminator, Bang Gang Deejays and Mark Dynamix.
