Nhar: What’s In Your Box

Connoisseur of all things deep and melodic, Nhar gives us his current faves in support of a new EP for Tenampa Recordings.

Deltawerk – Mareokey [Atomnation]

I got this one a few weeks back as a promo, if I remember well, it was a sampler promo for their upcoming album on their own label Atomnation. Real good and interesting electronic music. Looking forward to hear the whole Lp.

Andre Lodemann – Birth [Best Works Records]

I’ve always like Lodemann’s music, found out this one a few days back and I’m not disappointed, superb, deep and catchy music. It will be released at the beginning of June on hiw own label Best Works Records.

Slow Hearts – Life [Not On Label (Free download)]

I’ve found this on soundcloud a few weeks ago because someone has reposted it, and this track is really gorgeous, deep and melancholic with interesting sounds, and it’s downloadable for free!

Nhar – Praise The Sun [Tenampa]

One of the tracks of my latest release on the mexican label Tenampa. Lately, I’ve been coming a little back to a more melodic, a bit progressive type of productions. It’s gonna be released on  May 29 alongside another track and a remix from Dubspeeka.

T.Raumschmiere – Wacker [Kompakt]

I’m listening to T.Raumschmiere’s music since his first releases on Kompakt and his own label Shitkatapult. Always interesting and werid music with him, his last Lp on Kompakt is no exception, this track, Wacker, is my favorite of the album.

Skinnerbox – Living On The Ceiling [Darkroom Dubs]

New EP to be released soon on Silicone Soul’s Darkroom Dubs. I discovered Skinnerbox back in 2011 with their Anapoli Ep on Bpitch Control, and I’m following them since then. On the Ep are two different versions of one track, it was hard to pick one as the whole Ep is really good.

Pablo Bolivar – Vanished [Moodmusic]

New release from my friend Pablo Bolivar, this time on Moodmusic. In my opinion this track, Vanished, is excellent because of the good balance between atsmophere and melodies, well supported by an excellent productions and old schools synths stabs.

A45 – Somewhere Into The Distance [Engrave Ltd]

The new release of this nice italian label Engrave Ltd of Musumeci. I really liked this track from A45, well driven, a bit raw sounding, and also the long break, all good.

Mano Le Tough – Big Words From The Small Mouth [Maeve]

This one from Mano le Tough is super good for the dancefloor, especially at warming up, thanks to the crazy analog sounds, the minimal beat and the oriental atmosphere. It has been released earlier this month on Maeve.

Sid Le Rock – Mosquito [Hafendisko]

I’m a fan of Sid Le Rock and his other moniker Pan/Tone since the beginning, so I jumped immediately on this new release on Hafendisko and the track Mosquito is excellent, a good mixture of italo disco, synthetic pop and analog sounds.

Nhar has a new EP out now on Tenampa Recordings, you can purchase the release: here
