Kasper Bjørke Releases Today His Brand New Mini-LP

After a three year absence, Danish DJ-producer returns to hfn music with a remarkable new double EP entitled “Nothing Gold Can Stay”

The double EP “Nothing Gold Can Stay” explores both the analogue and organic side of his production work on Side A – while Side B reflects on sounds that he would play today, in one of his nightclub DJ sets.

Bjørke’s most recent 7-track pack definitely focus again on both club-friendly tunes (electro, cosmic disco, fusing ’90s house music) and his particular signature designing beautiful song-oriented compositions. In this double EP (mini-LP, as you prefer) the Part A is to explore therapeutic organic pop songs (“Water”, “Du Du Du”, “Nothing Gold Can Stay” and “Seabird” a cover version of a Alessi Brothers’ 1975 classic song ) and Part B is to mold and inject really nice beat driven tracks: “Venetian Blinds”, “Dreamers (A Tribute to Laurie)” and “Oceans of Time”. All of them with amazing arps, positive energy and ethereal soundscapes that are as poignant on the dancefloor as they are when heard through headphones.

Something else that should also be mentioned here. Kasper Bjørke’s “Nothing Gold Can Stay” contains four collaborations, four of his best friends from LA, New York and Copenhagen: Toby ErnestChristian d’OrTomas Høffding (of WhoMadeWho and Bon Homme) and Justin Strauss.

The saga continues. This new release it is a fabulous way to honor previous albums like “After Forever”, “Fool”, “Standing on Top of Utopia”… And we are happy to taste it and support it once again.
