The summer force is strong with this one! Just in time for the big European festivals, Heinz Music shares another magnificent release with us. It is a collaboration between Berlin based Beatamines and Serbian hot shot Circle Of Life, supported by a remix from Markus Kavka.
Having been in the electronic music scene for some time, Beatamines is known for his high quality productions and infectious, dance floor oriented music. Circle Of Life is a rather fresh face in the scene, but his music has hit like a lightning the last couple of years and is played regularly by the biggest names in the industry, putting him on everyone’s radar.
These two joining forces could only mean something big is coming, and “City Of Illusion EP” does not disappoint. The title track is a powerful fury of catchy percussions and a massive dark synth, rolling along the strong groove. Secondly, “Una” takes a lighter turn towards funky town. A bouncy synth meets charming hi-hats creating a dreamy energy leading into a big break prepping for that sweet release. Rounding up the EP is the versatile German artist Markus Kavka with his take on “City Of Illusion”. Lightening up the vibe he incorporates skillfully formed elements from the original into a playful remix. Although the main focus remains on the synth, it is heavily supported by obscure and juicy details that come together in a delicate track.
