With Nicolas Rada having new music out now on Sound Avenue, we take a look at his favourite tracks of the moment in the latest edition of What’s In Your Box?
1. Blancah – Higher Ground (Original Mix) [Steyoyoke]
During my sets, I use to combine tracks which were purposely made for the dance floor with some study-made pieces like this. The warmth of the voice, the harmony of the pads and the melody of the synths make of this track a masterpiece. I’ve used it in many of my live shows in order to create new environments.
2. Stas Drive – Passage of Time (Nicolas Rada Remix) [Superordinate]
Excellent artist who I admire. This remix shows exactly the way I produce progressive house!
3. Robert R. Hardy – Last Indos (Nicolas Rada Remix) [Balkan Connection South America]
What a challenge to make a remix after such a great original! Its vocals helped to create the environment I wished, I feel I can stand by this song during any time of the set.
4. Sezer Uysal – Space Egg (Luis Leon Cosmic Edition) [Chapter 24]
A great musical piece, that I’m using without doubt! The environment created is special, and people strongly feels it!
5. Navar, Mononoid – Ad Litem (YokoO Remix) [microCastle]
Navar is an artist I really respect. His times in the production process are great and they fix with my style. YokoO’s interpretation with a lower and hypnotic tempo matches perfectly with my sets.
6. Michael A – Illusion (Nicolas Rada Remix) [Sound Avenue]
Michael A is in constant growth, and his tracks have many interesting progressive features. In this remix, I could combine both, my groove and an hypnotic melody.
7. AudioStorm – Fragments of Light (Nicolas Rada Remix) [3rd Avenue]
With this track, I tried to go deeper and to create a special warmup atmosphere. I believe it produces the expected effect!
8. Julian Rodriguez- Ulinpit Disconnection (Nicolas Rada Remix) [Balkan Connection]
Vibrant! For a particular moment of the night. Julian produces good things, and this is not an exception. I’m not used to go so high with my productions, but this one deserved it. The dance floor explodes!
9. Kastis Torrau & Donatello – Genesis (Lanvary Remix) [Particles]
Three artists that I have in my box, unquestionably!
10. NikoChristo & Synas – Sativa (Nicholas Van Orton Remix) [VaronA]
Nicholas always has a groove up his sleeve! I love this song! I’m using it frequently! I’m amazed with its bass line!
