ULTRA South Africa Announces 2022 Festival With Black Coffee & More…

The event runs in Cape Town on March 10th and Johannesburg on March 11th.

Ultra Worldwide continues to produce unparalleled electronic music events around the globe, this week announcing the return of ULTRA South Africa in addition to revealing lineups for both ULTRA Beach Bali and RESISTANCE Bali.

ULTRA South Africa will host a two-day affair on Friday, March 10 and Saturday, March 11, 2023, taking place in Cape Town and Johannesburg, respectively. The ULTRA South Africa announcement reaffirms Ultra Worldwide’s celebrated distinction as the most international music festival brand, boasting active events on all 6 inhabited continents.

On Friday, March 10, 2023,ULTRA South Africa will welcome attendees into its new Cape Town venue, the Kenilworth Racecourse. The conveniently located and beautifully designed Kenilworth Racecourse is home to some of Cape Town’s most iconic events, and ULTRA South Africa’s organizers will transform this space into a fantastic festival fantasy-land. From the jaw-dropping main stage set-up, to the magnetic RESISTANCE experience, Kenilworth Racecourse venue is the perfect setting for an expansive outdoor festival like ULTRA South Africa.

Then, on Saturday, March 11, 2023, ULTRA South Africa will make its way over to Johannesburg and the iconic Expo Centre at Nasrec, which will host the festival for the eighth time.

The last ULTRA South Africa in 2020 brought 50,000 ecstatic partygoers together for an unforgettable festival experience featuring world-renowned artists like Afrojack, Black Coffee, DJ Snake, Steve Aoki and more. ULTRA Beach Bali has also unveiled its star-studded lineup for the festival’s fourth edition, taking place Thursday, September 29 – Friday, September 30. Landing at the brand-new, oceanfront venue Discovery Kartika Plaza Hotel Kurtain Kuta, Bali, ULTRA Beach Bali will welcome headliners Dutch icon Afrojack, Swedish progressive house superstar Alesso, ascendant tech-house prodigy John Summit, Dharma Worldwide boss KSHMR, and future house pioneer Oliver Heldens.

ULTRA Beach Bali support acts include Montreal bass-trio Black Tiger Sex Machine, rythimic Dutch house producer and remixer Fedde Le Grand, and Surinamese/Dutch duo Sunnery James & Ryan Marciano. The lineup will also feature Cesqeaux, Chico Rose, DJ Raiden, Dubvision, Justus, Mykris, and a bevy of regional artists.

Additionally, RESISTANCE Bali revealed its lineup of house and techno heavyweights, who will deliver hard-hitting underground sounds for the closing party on Saturday, October 1 at Savaya Bali on Uluwatu Beach.

RESISTANCE Bali will be headlined by storied techno producer/DJ and MOOD Records label head Nicole Moudaber, with support by ‘POPOF B2B Space 92 present: Turbulences.’ The widely-recognized French techno acts have performed together a handful of times, and their RESISTANCE Bali set will follow their inaugural Turbulences performance at RESISTANCE Tokyo last weekend. The pair’s recent collaboration “Control” with UMEK ranked #1 track on Beatport’s Techno Chart, and has received millions of streams across platforms. Acclaimed Brazilian DJ/producer Wehbba will round out the RESISTANCE Bali lineup.
