Sven Väth Is Playing Melbourne, Australia In February 2023

On the 19th of the month, he will be playing Smalltown alongside the Adana Twins.

Melbourne-based event series ‘Smalltown’ has announced its first 2023 event featuring international headliners Sven Väth and the Adana Twins.

Sven Väth is one of Germany’s more respected, influential and long-standing DJs who is also the founder of the Cocoon record label and events series which have both become iconic clubbing brands.

From his early days smashing out hard-as-nails techno in the ’90s, to when he was one of the people at the forefront of the minimal techno movement in the mid-’00s, Sven Väth has forever been one of the most influential names in electronic music. His label Cocoon has been a platform that has helped give exposure and support to some of today’s most influential electronic music artists.

Someone who knows how to work a dance floor and read a crowd like the back of his hand, Sven Väth never disappoints and he remains one of the world’s most in-demand DJs.

Adana Twins are a German duo from Hamburg and they are known for their melodic style that fuses together a range of different styles including indie dance to melodic house/techno.

They are also known for their releases on labels like Innervisions to Diynamic and they also head up the highly influential imprint TAU.

Also on the line-up is a fine selection of homegrown Australian talent including the likes of PARIS, Emma Renée b2b Clare Choveaux, Fosters, Gumm and a handful of others.

The event takes place on 19th February 2023 and you can find tickets plus more info here.
