Smalltown Street Rave Returns To Melbourne With Roza Terenzi & Tornado Wallace

The outdoor event will take place on the 30th of October in Port Melbourne with an all-Australian line-up.

Smalltown Street Rave is an event organised by Novel.

Novel is an events company behind some of Australia’s leading dance events including B3 at Marvel Stadium, Let Them Eat Cake at Werribee Mansion and Pitch Music & Arts Festival.

One of its flagship parties are their Smalltown Street Rave, which in the past have played host to international DJs including the likes of DJ Koze, Nina Kraviz and Stephan Bodzin.

Their next street rave is on the 30th of October in Port Melbourne, and it features an all-Australian line-up headlined by Roza Terenzi and Tornado Wallace.

Tornado Wallace is something of a local legend whose closing set at the areas Hopkins Creek festival in 2019 went down in local folk law. This will be his first time playing in Melbourne since that event, so his set is highly anticipated.

Roza Terenzi was a resident of Melbourne before spending some time living in Europe, and her lofi analogue style blends techy rhythms with classic sound design. Raw, jazzy and funky, she has an underground style that transcends time and space. This can be heard in her fantastic podcast for Resident Advisor.

Alongside the headliners, the event will also welcome Millú, Pjenné, Willem and Marli are some of the others also playing on the line-up.

The event will also have visuals from John Fish alongside a Funktion-One sound system to ensure maximum sound quality on all parts of the dance floor.
