Skydance Is A New Australian Festival

Launching in 2022, it runs November 3-8 at a location between Sydney and Byron Bay.

Skydance is a new addition to Australia’s festival roster, and it will be taking its maiden voyage in November 2022.

Its exact location is yet to be announced, but it’s advertised to be taking place 5 hours north of Sydney / 6 hours south of Byron Bay, which has been estimated to be somewhere near Newcastle.

Focusing on house and techno, the event has stages curated by Sydney promoters including S*A*S*H*, Be Avant Garde, Roots and more.

The line-up is focused on Australian talent, and so far, it’s announced names ranging from Dave Stuart to Tangela who have both been making waves across the Australian scene.

There are still more DJs being announced, and you can keep track via the festival’s Instagram page where you can also find a full list of those already confirmed.

Those putting on the event promise “fresh mountain air, panoramic views, and one the most unique dancefloors nature has to offer”.

It starts on Thursday 3rd Nov and finishes Tuesday 8th Nov 2022, which includes a day to set up before the music starts and another day to chill before going home.

We will keep Flow readers updated about the event as more information gets announced closer to it, but the first batch of tickets has already sold out.
