Sister Bliss Drops New Single ‘Life Is A Melody’

Out now, the track is a collaboration with Hyacinth & Apollo.

Sister Bliss is a core member of the iconic dance act, Faithless.

One of the most successful British dance artists of the past 25 years, a true trailblazer and the musical force behind Faithless (along with iconic late front man, Maxi Jazz and producer Rollo), Sister Bliss returns with emotive new single ‘Life Is A Melody’. The track is a collaboration with Hyacinth & Apollo aka We Love Space resident and Colour Series head honcho Jem Haynes and Grammy Award-winning artist Jinadu (work including Black Coffee, Jamie Jones and Patrick Topping) and arrives on HE.SHE.THEY. 17th of March.

A true meeting of dance music heavyweights to stunning effect, ‘Life Is A Melody’’s all star lineup came to be after Sister Bliss was inspired to create a track that truly encapsulated the euphoria and intensity of being back on the road after lockdown had put life on pause. A chance meeting at a party brought Jem Haynes and Jinadu aka Hyacinth & Apollo to her attention as the perfect collaborators. With such a wealth of talent, experience and accolades between the trio, the result was always going to be something very special.

After a turbulent and emotional couple of years, and with additional poignancy in 2023, ‘Life Is A Melody’ is an ode to the healing power of music and the transformative communion of being in the dance together. A stirring symphony of deep hypnotic beats and bleeps, with rising synth chords from the hands of both Sister Bliss and Jem Haynes, Jinadu’s powerful vocal and deeply personal lyrics propel the track into a transcendent and hopeful euphoria.

An electrifying celebration of music and the alchemy of the people who make it happen, ‘Life Is A Melody’ is the kind of high quality big room gold that Sister Bliss has been synonymous with throughout her expansive and influential career, and is set to be a staple of discerning dance floors throughout this year and beyond.

The progressive club stormer comes with a package of additional remixes including the ‘Those Were The Days’ mix that embraces 90s revivalism and evokes the Faithless golden era. The ‘Tuff’ mix does exactly what it says on the tin delivering a pounding alternative perfect for warehouse moments that will have bodies moving in their droves.

‘Life Is A Melody’s’ powerful message finds its perfect home on HE.SHE.THEY., a label committed to celebrating the power of inclusive dancefloors and freedom of expression through individuality and is set to become a playlist essential when it hits the shelves on 17th March.

Sister Bliss says: “It all started in a South London basement – I first saw Hyacinth & Apollo aka Grammy winner Jinadu & DJ/ producer Jem Haynes perform at a private gig in London I was DJing at – their live set totally blew me away”.

“Following the liberating feeling of playing a huge number of festivals over the summer after multiple postponements due to the pandemic, I wanted to encapsulate that feeling of euphoria and intensity of being back on the road, and the power of music to bring us together once again. I was inspired to reach out to Hyacinth & Apollo and when we got together to create ‘Life Is A Melody’ the alchemy was tangible”.
