Satori announces his Re:Imagined album on Sol Selectas with a rework of Derun

Album available in stores on 9 October 2020

Satori is a Dutch maestro, known for his charismatic live sets that turn sweaty dance floors into concert halls, and blend musicianship with sequenced music equipment.

When two forces collide, the outcome is often something dramatic, and that is what has got us so excited about the news of Satori and Sol Selectas joining forces for a special album release.

Sabo’s label Sol Selectas is a driving force for electronic music with a world influence and organic textures. Satori is someone whose sound is a perfect fit for the label and drives the same genre from the artists point of view, with his inventive sound design and mind-blowing live performances.

Titled “Re:Imagined by Satori” it’s a special album release where Satori has picked out some of his favourite Sol Selectas tracks and reworked them with his own reimagined versions.

To wet our appetites and get us excited for what’s to come, the label have teased us with a single from the release consisting of a remixed version of Derun’s classic track “Yedi Kule” that was originally released at the start of 2019.

The new version lifts the tempo and transforms the original with an incredible melody pad that becomes the tracks driving force. Adding an uplifting momentum, he pays tribute to the original with use of the vocal and main flute section.
