New App Allows People To Create An NFT For Free

‘S!ng’ manages its own Ethereum-based blockchain that can be accessed from a smart phone.

There is a new iPhone app called ‘S!ng’ that allows users to create and mint their own Non-Fungible Token (NFT) for free, and directly from their smartphone or mobile device.

It allows people to easily mint their NFT in the blockchain directly from any device with the app, and supports file types including MP3, MP4, JPG and even MIDI files.

Previously, it would often cost around $50 and $100 of cryptocurrency to mint something to the Ethereum blockchain, and that required using existing platforms like OpenSea or Foundation.

S!ng manages its own Ethereum-based blockchain which speeds up the process while also making it free.

DJ Numark and Jake One are some of the artists who collaborated on the creation of the app.

Geoff Osler is co-creator of the app, and he told Fast Company it’s for “anyone who creates or manages creative work, including songwriters, photographers, visual artists, beatmakers, and authors.” Also according to Fast Company “there’s no way to actually look up your NFT on the Ethereum blockchain; you have to use another app to do that.
