Kölsch collabs with footwear brand Pantofola d’Oro at ADE 2019

Kölsch played a one-hour in-store set at FOUR Amsterdam to mark the launch

Danish electronic artist Kölsch and Italian footwear brand Pantofola d’Oro have joined forces for an exclusive collaboration at last week’s Amsterdam Dance Event.

The collab saw the launch of a limited run of Kölsch x Pantofola d’Oro trainers, which ere sold exclusively from contemporary fashion store FOUR Amsterdam during ADE. Just 24 pairs were made available on Thursday 17th October, the day also included a one hour in-store set from the man himself Kölsch to mark the launch.

Founded in 1886, Pantofola d’Oro built its reputation around its world-class, handmade football boots that were worn by the likes of Johan Cruyff, Roberto Mancini, Fabio Capello and Jürgen Klinsman. More recently branching out into more contemporary design, Pantofola’s sophisticated yet understated style is an ideal pairing for Kölsch’s ultra-refined brand of dance music.

The Kompakt mainstay also played De Kromhouthal for ADE for a collaborative party between revered Dutch brand STRAF_WERK and Kölsch’s own IPSO imprint. He was also joined on the lineup by Henrik Schwarz, Patrice Baumel and Nicky Elisabeth.

A collaboration between two innovators in their respective fields, the Kölsch x Pantofola d’Oro trainers made for a perfect ADE 2019 memento.
