Huxley is one of the UK’s most prolific artists, boasting an impressive back catalogue including releases on Toolroom, Moon Harbour, Knee Deep In Sound and Relief.

Huxley first broke onto the scene releasing house tracks on labels like Hypercolour, but his sound has evolved into other genres such as the techno he’s released on labels like Tronic, along with more melodic styles championed by imprints including Sacha’s, Last Night On Earth.

Most recently Huxley featured a new EP on Hot Haus Recs, and has provided us with this exclusive mix in a similar style of bumping house inspired by old school sounds.

Starting off with stripped back analogue tones, it sets the scene with deep vibes before the percussion takes hold, and things start to get jackin. Switching up the genres to change the mood, techy tracks like Len Faki’s “My Black Sheep” plunge the mix into darkness, as the mix gets sinister for the finish.

A proper journey, that been skilfully mixed with expert hands, and a keen ear for detail, this exclusive mix from Huxley is a great addition to the Flow Podcast series.
