Dan Shake Is Playing Melbourne, Australia This Saturday

Taking place on April 16th it’s an open-air event that also features DJ sets from Anthony Naples, Lauren Hansom and Colette.

Dan Shake will be accompanied by DJ sets from Anthony Naples, Lauren Hansom and Colette.

Melbourne promoters Finding Figaro and Soothsayer team up for an open-air day party at the Railway Reserve in Footscray, and it will be a day of groovy house music with some disco, techno, jazz, funk and soul also in the mix.

The event features international headliners Dan Shake from the UK, and Anthony Naples from America, plus support from Australians Lauren Hansom and Colette.

It’s likely to be the promoters last day party due to the Australian summer coming to an end, but that won’t stop the music being scorching hot, as Dan Shake is known to bring the heat wherever he plays.

Dan Shake has played at festivals ranging from Dimensions to Glastonbury, and headlined clubs all over the world. He is well-known for his upbeat party vibes that are infectious to anyone on the dance floor. He is also known for his productions on trend setting record labels ranging from Lumberjacks in Hell to his own Shake Label.

Also headlining the event is Anthony Naples from New York City whose experimental style incorporates techno, deep house, ambient, and anything with a groove. He is co-founder of the Incienso record label and his DJ sets are a magical blend of tracks that create a psychedelic atmosphere full of analogue warmth.

Australia’s Lauren Hanson is a skilled DJ who has played at events such as Dekmantel’s Lente Kabinet, Kala Festival, De School, Salon des Amateurs, Horst Music & Arts Festival and Opium Club. Colette is a DJ who draws her heritage from Cape Town and a lifetime of involvement in Melbourne’s thriving scene to create her own unique style.
