Carl Cox Urges People To Get Vaccinated

Appearing in a video from the UK’s National Health Service, the DJ says why he feels it’s important for nightclubs.

Carl Cox has urged fans to get vaccinated against coronavirus in a new interview.

Appearing in a video for the UK’s National Health Service, Carl Cox urges his fans to get vaccinated against COVID-19. In the video interview, he discusses why he feels getting a vaccination is important, and how it could help nightlife industries.

During the conversation with Dr Kishan Bodalia, Carl Cox says: “My whole life existence over the last 30 years has been entertaining people in small clubs, in bars and wine bars and big clubs and festivals alike. What I do, it creates a gathering of people. So that’s what I’d like to see happen more than anything, that we can basically all be safe in knowing that we’re going out to party safe and enjoy ourselves.

“We are in a pandemic. This is something that we are all trying to deal with and all trying to work on and what we don’t want is the clubs to not work. At the end of the day, we are all on the frontline now. So, it’s the only thing we can do to protect ourselves, to be able to enjoy our moments.”

Venues in France have already made vaccine passports mandatory, and although there is no official law to do the same in the UK, it does look like the country’s government are planning to introduce the rule. Countries in other parts of the world are also looking into similar systems.
