Boiler Room Visits Australia To Stream ‘Lost Sundays’ Launch With DJ Boring

Starting on the 30th of May, the weekly party runs every Sunday at Sydney’s Ivy Precinct.

‘Lost Sundays’ is a weekly party in Sydney’s Ivy Precinct that allows people to close out the weekend with one more day of dancing.

The event describes itself by saying “It’s about movement. An expression of rhythm and dance.

Each Sunday the party presents DJ sets from some of Australia’s finest DJ talent, and it launches on May 30th with sets from DJ Boring, who is a homegrown artist who gained international fame for his lo-fi style of house music.

His own productions often fall under the lo-fi house category with dusty percussion and gritty analogue textures infused in funk and deep atmosphere, but his upbeat DJ style focuses on party vibes and timeless classics.

As he was introduced by Boiler Room’s hosts “international superstar, we’re so stoked to have him back on home soil. Maybe the most ironically named producer in the world – DJ Boring!” DJ Boring is anything other than what his name suggests, as his Lost Sundays performance shows he definitely knows exactly how to rock a party.

For those living in the Sydney area of Australia, then this certainly looks like a party that you should be making an effort to attend.

One crowd member described the event as: “DJ Boring was playing and he is one of my favourite artists. From the moment I arrived there was a sense of excitement in the crowd, the fact that it was also going to be a Boiler Room added to this excitement. All of the Dj’s were in top form, Luan and Cassettes for kids were a stand out for me and DJ Borings set was one of the best that I have seen in years of avid festival going. The set-up was very understated and the crowd was on fire. The venue, Ivy was perfect for the event and I look forward to enjoying more Lost Sundays in the future. A big thanks to Simon and Finley Tuned for putting on a world-class event!.
