BIIANCO Drops New Single ‘I Like to Listen to Music When I’m Sad’

The track is out now via Venice Records.

BIIANCO is an American artist with a style reminiscent of The Prodigy.

LA-based artist BIIANCO is set to release their latest record ‘I Like to Listen to Music When I’m Sad’ on May 17th via Venice Records. The multi-talented artist, known for their skill as a DJ, producer, and singer-songwriter, has crafted a record that is both personal and universal in its exploration of emotions.

‘I Like to Listen to Music When I’m Sad’ serves up a pulsating acid line throughout, anchored down by a raucous breakbeat rivalling any hedonistic rave track from the 90s. BIIANCO’s music has been praised for its raw honesty and vulnerability, and ‘I Like to Listen to Music When I’m Sad’ promises to be no exception again showcasing their signature blend of contemporary dance music and indie-pop.

Speaking about the record BIIANCO says: “‘I Like To Listen To Music When I’m Sad’ is the first non-collaborative dance track I’ve released to date — it’s also probably the most accurate personal soundtrack I have as an artist.  I want people to listen to this song as they drive their cars under city lights soaked in melancholy and feel like they’re in a Guy Ritchie film and can take on the world.”

With their finger ever on the pulse BIIANCO’s ‘Mixtape #3 This Beat Is Gonna Eat Me Alive’ is also pencilled for a release on June 30th via Ugly Cry / Venice Records.

In a world that often tries to box us into predetermined categories, BIIANCO’s non-binary identity and artistic expression serve as a powerful reminder that music has the ability to transcend boundaries and connect us all.

‘I Like to Listen to Music When I’m Sad’ is a must-listen for anyone looking for a sonic journey that is both introspective and uplifting.
