Germany’s ‘Nature One’ Festival Is Cancelled For 2021

Dates for the 2022 event are already set for the 5th to 7th of May.

It’s been confirmed by events company I-Motion that their German festival Nature One has been cancelled for 2021.

Originally it had been planned to run between the 30th of June and 1st of August. Due to Germany’s third wave of the COVID-19 virus and the associated health and safety restrictions on events, they have decided to postpone until 2022.

Their 2022 event is planned to run between the 5th and 7th of May, and tickets already purchased will remain valid until next year.

I-Motion hope that by the time of their 2022 event the current restrictions will be largely lifted due to advances in Germany’s vaccination program.

Next year’s line-up hasn’t been announced yet, but those scheduled to headline this year’s cancelled event included Sven Väth, Richie Hawtin, Nina Kraviz, Paul Van Dyk, Charlotte de Witte, Angerfist, Eric Prydz, Adam Beyer, and Chris Liebing.

Oliver Vordemvenne is managing director of I-Motion, and in a statement, he said: “Nature One only exists at all or not at all. Reduced capacities, mask duty, spacing and the like are out of the question for us. We want to experience the full festival feeling together with the visitors. This will not be possible until next year.”
